This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard-working individuals that are always interested in more. They love it when I give them the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills using technology. My students learn in many different ways, and I strive to provide them with the most enriching education possible. My students amaze me every day and push me to create child-centered lesson plans. My kiddos are creative, hardworking, and smart. I look forward to getting them excited about learning and letting their creativity soar!

My Project

My students would love a new iPad for our classroom. Our school uses a reading program called iRead to help students develop reading skills. We currently have computers a few days a week for math and reading intervention. In the current COVID-19 climate, finding stations and individual activities that are fun and engaging while maintaining distance has been a hurdle. With our new iPad, I am hoping to open up a technology station for my students to utilize during stations for intervention and extra practice. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom!
