I teach a group of 19 creative, energetic, smart, and loving 5 and 6-year-olds. Most of my students are looped, meaning I had them last year and have the pleasure of teaching them again this year.
My Kindergarten students love to learn through hands-on, engaging activities.
They enjoy working together to solve problems and love to learn through play. In my classroom, we are a class family that works together, learns together, and grows together.
My Kindergarten students learn letter names and sounds and are ultimately reading by the end of the year. They are learning handwriting skills, math/numeracy skills, and more. Not only do they grow academically, but they are growing socially and emotionally, too.
My Project
These iPads and their protective cases will be used frequently in my Kindergarten classroom. The iPads will serve a variety of uses including being utilized during center time. They will also be used for early finishers to stay engaged in academic content while their peers continue to work.
In addition, they will allow me to differentiate learning for students in math and literacy by personalizing learning apps to meet each student's abilities.
The cases will help keep the iPads safe from accidental drops and spills that often occur in a Kindergarten classroom.
