The alphabet tubs have been a great addition to my alphabet lessons! Students are able to use the objects in the tubs to identify and learn the corresponding letter and sound. They loved the little apple, mouse, sun, pickle, and turtle in the corresponding letter tubs. \r\n\r\nStudents are excited to hold and manipulate the objects within the sound tubs. My students love using the sensory writing pads in my kindergarten classroom! We use them weekly during small and whole-group instruction. They get so excited when I take them out! \r\n\r\nThe first time I showed them to my students was during small group instruction. One of the little boys in my group said, \" These are the coolest things I have ever seen!\" Usually, this particular child has a hard time paying attention, but he was very engaged during the whole lesson. Keeping a young child engaged all day can be challenging. That is why I believe it is so important to find new things to keep my students excited about learning. I have found that my students retain information better when I can incorporate games and hands-on materials. \r\n\r\nWithout your financial assistance, I would not have been able to purchase these for my students.
