My Students

On a typical day, approximately 100 eager and excited students visit the library for instruction and to borrow library books.

Our school is the home to over 300 students, ages 4-12.

Each student has the opportunity to visit the school library once a week for instruction and to borrow library books. Our library is a place that brings books and learning to life by providing our diverse learners with an opportunity to explore the world around them. My students need two iPad Minis and cases to help differentiate lessons.

My Project

iPads will enhance our students learning in so many ways! Our youngest students will use the iPads in centers to enhance their learning of letters and numbers. They will be able to listen to eBooks and watch digital-stories that bring books to life. Our older students will use the iPads to enhance their research skills by providing them access to ebooks, online encyclopedias, online databases, and educational videos. Additionally, the iPads will allow them to create finished products such as videos and stop motion to demonstrate their learning.

Donations to this project will allow our students to explore the world in new ways.

These iPads will provide our students with opportunities to use kid-friendly and up-to-date software to learn, create and explore.
