My students are a diverse group of kids. Some are coming to school to the first time, have special needs or are even English Language Learners who may be new to the country. They all come from very different home environments. Some of my students are lucky enough to live with their parents and siblings, while others may live with their grandparents or other guardians.
They inspire me to be the best teacher I can be and, because of them, I strive to give them the most memorable school experience possible.
My Project
Since the beginning of the pandemic, our school experience has changed drastically.
Technology in the classroom is now more important than ever.
These iPads will help us build up our set of classroom iPads so that each child has an one to use. On iPads, students can have access to endless amounts of books, educational games, and other resources. One app in particular that we would like students to access in school, is called Dreambox which we are using in conjunction with our math curriculum. Additionally, while in school we can teach them how to use and become independent in using their devices so they know how to complete assignments, upload work, and use various applications such as Dreambox and Google classroom at home.
