Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are English Language Learners. Some are learning English as a new language this year. My students love learning using their online programs on their iPads in the morning when they arrive at school. My students attend a high needs school in The Bronx. Unfortunately, the majority of my students come to school without a charged iPad because they do not have an iPad charger at home. Some cannot complete their online assignments on their iPads because they do not have a charged iPad.
The iPad charging cables will give my students the opportunity to have a charged device so they can do i-Ready reading and math in the morning.
Students that do not have a charged iPad cannot use the learning programs in the morning because there are not enough chargers in the classroom.
