Many of my students are enthusiastic readers and I want to continue that excitement! Please help us start the new year with reading, both in print and electronic formats!
My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and the library is the place that equalizes them.
We have students from around the block and around the world. We have students that are learning English and that are learning other languages. Give to a school that has many cultures, diversity, and adversity!
My Project
We will read, read, read and read some more! Our students are readers and the best way to encourage students to read is to have new and exciting books! I also want to reach our diverse learners using technology! Studies have repeatedly shown that students who are allowed to choose their own reading materials, continue to read and build their literacy skills! Please help me build readers and continue to encourage reading in our school! All of our students will use these books and the iPad to read both in print and digitally. I want to teach our students to read in all formats and having the iPad will help me have small groups learning how to use the eBooks. Other students can checkout the print books to read at home! Then students can read either in print or online if they have a device at home!
Reading improves the mind in so many ways.
Using both print and electronic materials gives students choices and new ways of learning information! Please help our students improve their minds!
