My students are everyone's students. They are our future leaders. Our group this year is diverse, energetic, and enthusiastic about learning. Technology is essential for learning as a student now and later for a strong career. Some of our students only have access to computers when they are at school. It is my goal to provide all of that to them where they do not have to share as much with others. Having iPads in our classroom will help students gain the skills they need to be knowledgeable in many academic areas such as literature, math, social studies, and science. My Project
These iPads will be used for small groups as well as individualized educational activities in a variety of academic areas.
We hope to promote skills such as number sense, phonemic skills and comprehension.
We intend to use QR codes for listening centers and have activities on the iPad to build comprehension skills. Math and literacy games will be incorporated to add a new and exciting dimension to the learning experience in our classroom.
The students can also use the iPads for our annual research project where students must explore and discover new facts about animals. iPads are also useful for creating a group of technologically advanced students.
