These iPads will be used for small groups as well as individualized educational activities in a variety of academic areas. We hope to promote skills such as number sense, phonemic skills and comprehension. We intend to use QR codes for listening centers and have activities on the iPad to build comprehension skills. Math and literacy games will be incorporated to add a new and exciting dimension to the learning experience in our classroom. The students can also use the iPads for our annual research project where students must explore and discover new facts about animals. iPads are also useful for creating a group of technologically advanced students.
