Never did I foresee that when my students and I said goodbye for our Spring Break vacation it would mean that it was our last day in the classroom for the 2019-2020 school year. It sure has been a challenge not only for students but for me as well. Nonetheless, we continue learning and helping each other with our current situation.
In a blink of an eye, we embarked on to the distance learning journey.
Even after all our struggles parents and students have been very supportive. We are all actively engaged in learning together. I schedule Google Meeting with my students, we go over lessons, but the best part of all is the excitement when we see each other. Never did I think that one day my students and I would be part of these historical events.
My students would benefit greatly from me having an iPad with sound and video capabilities to record lessons, read books, and continue having our class meetings.
This project will provide an iPad so that I can use while I continue teaching my amazing students during this unexpected historical event.
Once we enthusiastically return back to school, my extraordinary students will benefit immensely by having an iPad in our classroom. The iPad will help students with read-aloud, translation services, class projects and complete many other assignments. Students will have access to the iPad to test their fluency and comprehension, which I know will be a great motivation for them.
