My Students

Technology catches the attention of children and engages them in learning. When using iPads, students often forget that they are learning because they have so much fun!

My classroom is composed of 23 students living in a rural town in Northern Maine.

Many of the children in my classroom do not have access to modern technology at home. It is very important that students are given access to technology on a regular basis at school to prepare them for the future and to spark their excitement and desire to learn.

My Project

My students will use the classroom Ipad to complete differentiated assignments and to practice math and reading skills. My students will use the Ipad to create IMovies to demonstrate their learning. My students will develop independence and a greater understanding of technology.

Your donation will allow my students to work at their own pace using touch technology.

Research indicates that young children relate best to hands on activities and manipulating objects, this will be provided to my students through the use of an iPad!
