Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a special education teacher is not only a profession but also my life's mission. My students from Kindergarten through second grade are the main reason that I continue loving what I am doing. They work hard in all the learning stations. They are motivated to earn a token to get rewarded with something they have chosen to work for. Although most of them come from low-income families, they are always happy and content with what they have. I love their attitude toward learning and growth. I started this project with my students in mind on how they can greatly benefit from these materials. The iPad will be useful for me and my kindergarten students. I can prepare my lessons and find more interactive learning activities that my students can use in one of our learning stations. My first graders and second graders will use the iPad with the attached keyboard. I can also use the iPad to access my google drive and pull out some lesson plans and record data assessments. There are a lot of ways that my students and I will greatly benefit from this project.
