This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach the most loving, kind-hearted, and inspiring students in the world. Many students who attend our school are from low-income housing and have their own personal struggles and obstacles. I want school to be a place where they do not have to worry and can get access to anything and everything they need to be successful.

Students who attend our school are a mixture of different economic and cultural backgrounds.

We are a Title I school with over 75% entitled to free lunch. My students are the most down to earth, silly, caring, and sincere individuals I've ever met. They deserve the world and much, much more.

My Project

My students use technology 100% of their day. They love learning new things and using technology to advance their thinking. By attaining this iPad, I can use the pencil to draw on my google slides, annotate texts using the 5 Steps of Close Reading, and allow students to better understand the content. This year will be difficult. It will be hard to be consistent and get everyone engaged and on the same page. Using this iPad, I will engage students with my annotations, drawings, and the tools from the iPad to successfully teach through remote instruction. In addition, I will create interactive notes with the use of the Apple Pencil. My students will always have access to the notes at any time, which will with remote learning, if students are absent, or need extra support with materials.
