My students need iPad minis to access curriculum texts. They will use the camera feature on the iPad minis to retell key details from the texts while being able to retell the stories in sequential order.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in 1st and 2nd grade, and all have a learning disability. My students are diverse in many ways, including ethnically and economically. My students are all unique in their own ways, and they make my job fun and enjoyable.

This statement from Dr. Lovaas expresses my teaching philosophy. I aim to make my classroom a fun and positive learning environment for my students. I recognize that they all learn in different ways, and it is my job as an educator to help teach them in those different ways. I aim to help meet their educational and behavior needs.
My Project
My classroom needs iPad Minis. Getting these iPad Minis in my classroom will allow it to be used with out ELA curriculum. One of their grade level standard is to be able to retell details from a story read in sequential order while using transition words (e.g., first, next, last). With the iPad minis, my students will be able to record themselves on the camera when they do this and then go back to watch themselves while learning from their mistakes. They will also be able to use their own props and materials when making these videos to help with making this activity fun and engaging. This will hopefully increase their imagination and increase their storytelling skills.
