My Students
My students are in need of an iPad mini to help them get the most out of their education. My school is committed to the education of their students and is very active within the community.
My students need an iPad to help bring our science classroom into the 21st century.
So much of science is invisible to the naked eye, but an iPad in the classroom will allow me to make the invisible visible.
I teach 7th grade in Bayside, NY. Many of my students are new to this country and speak a variety of different languages. Each student brings his or her own diverse background and experiences to the classroom.
My Project
I am asking for an iPad mini. My students will share the iPad during instruction to help them translate science worksheets. When students are in small groups they will share the iPad and take turns.
The iPad will be used for the many English Language learners to translate science documents into their language.
An iPad can be used for a variety of activities. Students will learn how to navigate different apps and applications. There are many science games and websites for the students to use.
The iPad will be used on a daily basis to help all students succeed in science.
