Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, determined, and eager to engage with the world around them. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives to our classroom. Despite any challenges they face, they show up ready to learn, grow, and make a difference.
An iPad Mini would be a game-changer for their learning experience.
It will allow students to engage with interactive civics activities, evaluate sources more effectively, and practice ACT-aligned assessments in a way that’s dynamic and accessible. By incorporating digital tools, I can provide real-time feedback, enhance accessibility for all learners, and foster critical thinking skills—especially in analyzing public policy and current events.
My goal for this project is to create a more engaging, personalized learning experience that meets students where they are. Whether it’s using the iPad for research, collaborating on projects, or exploring simulations of government processes, this resource will bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.
What makes my students special is their resilience, enthusiasm, and drive to understand the world and their role in shaping it. They are the next generation of voters, leaders, and changemakers. With the right tools, they can develop the skills they need to navigate and influence the world around them.
