I want students to learn how to use technology to help them grow. iPads and tablets help students engage in learning and creating and problem solving!
The students in my classroom come from homes with limited opportunities to uses technology.
I want to help them learn how to use technology in a productive way so they can have those skills forever when they do gain access to more technology in their life.
My Project
I teach math, science, social studies, and Spanish. In the classroom, the students will use technology to record themselves speaking and reading in Spanish. They will create projects and save them to share with their parents and other real world audiences. We will also practice math facts and difficult concepts using games and other apps to help students problem solve and use math in a fun way! Students practice fluency and learn through play!
Students in my classroom will have increased students achievement as we implement more technology in the classroom.
Students will learn to problem solve and think for themselves more as they create projects on the iPads. Students will be better prepared for their whole lives as they learn how to work together and use higher level thinking.
