Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking donations to purchase iPad keyboards for my students. These keyboards will be used for PSSA tests as well as everyday school assignments, allowing them to maximize the potential of their digital learning tools.
By providing each student with an iPad keyboard, they will have the ability to more efficiently and effectively complete both their PSSA tests and classroom assignments.
These keyboards will:
Improve Test Performance: The PSSA assessments are given online, and having a keyboard will allow students to more easily navigate test sections, type responses, and perform better during the testing process.
Enhance Writing Skills: Keyboards will give students the tools they need to express their ideas clearly and confidently during regular class assignments, essays, and projects.
Support Test Readiness: With the iPad keyboards, my students will be fully prepared for the PSSA tests, ensuring they can complete their exams without being hindered by the limitations of a touch-screen keyboard.
Enhance Learning Productivity: Having keyboards will allow students to complete their assignments more efficiently, leading to increased productivity and better-quality work.
Promote Equity in Education: By providing all students with the same tools, we ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or resources at home.

They are constantly overcoming obstacles, and many are learning English as a second language, while others face financial hardships at home. Despite these challenges, they have an incredible enthusiasm for learning and a desire to succeed. When given the proper tools and opportunities, they excel beyond expectations.
