My students need an iPad. There are so many amazing apps for kindergarten level students and I want to share that with my them.

My Students

Everyone today has an iPad! Not my students, but with your help they could share in the amazing learning opportunities one would offer.

My 24 students attend a Title I elementary school in a low income area.

They speak many languages, come from many different cultures, and have varied needs. They are wonderful, curious, bright, and excited to learn. They love coming to school and are joyful in their learning.

My Project

Having an iPad in the classroom would be amazing. I could offer students an opportunity to learn in a fun and different way and could give all of them an opportunity to use it throughout the day. I could choose apps specifically for individual student needs and many of those apps offer progress monitoring components. It could be used individually, in pairs, and small groups. The opportunities are endless!!

Having an iPad in my class will allow my students an opportunity to explore and learn from a piece of technology that is part of lives of many today, but one that most of my students do not have access to.

Please allow me to share this with my students and give them the love of learning with technology.
