Our Title I school serves many military families. We are a very transient school with families frequently moving in and out of the state and country. Our students often have one parent deployed or away working with the military.
My kindergartners are excited about class and have an innate need to learn all that they can absorb.
They come to school every day with excitement in their eyes, wondering what amazing things they will learn that day. Kindergarten teaches the foundations and gives the students opportunities to grow and become amazing adults. This is a very important year for all students.
My Project
Students today live by technology. They walk down the street playing on their cell phones. They sit at the dinner table playing video games. They stay up all night posting on Facebook.
Let's help these students use technology to help them succeed!
iPads are the surest way to get students to be engaged in their learning. With all of the educational apps such as Starfall, ABCya, and Teach Your Monster to Read, students can use technology to help them learn letters, sounds, and words. They can also use it to practice math concepts, such as addition, subtraction, shapes, and measuring.
Please help my students get an iPad mini to further their education. We appreciate any help you can give.
