Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Adding an iPad pro to the current class technology will continue the efficiency and accessibility to all the tools I use in instruction and coaching

This iPad is perfect for scholars in any field, but particularly in STEM.

All on one device, they can organize data into spreadsheets, apply mathematical thinking and skills, and visualize data with charts and graphs.

When challenged to create solutions to real-world problems, scholars with iPad can collaborate, brainstorm, and use design skills to sketch their ideas. The built-in features on iPad, along with access to a breadth of available resources, make it invaluable for supporting STEM teaching and learning. iPad can transform into almost any tool scholars need—a telescope, a graphing calculator, a camera, a sketch pad, a book—the list goes on.

Over the years, I have come to appreciate this valuable technology. However, having just one in the classroom means only one or at the most a group of 4 can use it at any given time. It would be nice to have a set so that group work can happen and there are four scholars to one iPad.
