Help me give my students instruction on drawing scientific pictures such as cells, viruses, bacteria so they understand their significance.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bradley's classroom raised $790

My Students
I teach in a Title I school. Most of my students qualify for free meals. We have a very diverse set of students. Many are even English Language Learners. These are a great bunch of kids. I had them last year in 6th grade an now they follow me to 7th grade science.
I have been successful combining my love of science with their love of drawing.
I am excited about teaching them via distance until we can get back in the classroom. I know I miss them greatly. Some have even kept in touch with me over this summer.
My students have varying capabilities but I now one thing they do well is to draw out their ideas. Impressive because I am not an drawer. Many of those who think they cannot draw have surprised themselves. I love it when they can express their scientific ideas with art. Combining both art and science is a great thing.
My Project
We are distance learning for the first 9 weeks. My school is a Title I school and funds are tight. The district has many computers for many of the teachers but some of us teachers do not have access to current technology.
This iPad will definitely help me to connect with my science students during this time.
I would be able to interact with them on a personal level including being able to draw and write in real-time.
My students are really the best and deserve a teacher who can access the newest technology. This iPad and pencil will certainly help me and the students.
