This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a diverse population of almost entirely minority students, in attendance, including many English learners, and several students who are barely speaking any English. We have great staff members who love the kids and support them in all aspects of their education. Safety is our number one priority in my school.

We hope to provide a well-rounded music education, where music class is “cool,” and kids look forward to coming to class.

We are finding ourselves in need of some supplies to help maintain our growing music program.

My Project

I'd like to start a Smartmusic lab in my room. In order to do this, I'll need a computer for the kids to use. I'd like to purchase an iPad for the kids to better utilize the Smart Music software. Ideally, I'll have an ipad in each of my three practice rooms available for students to use at any given time for extra support of mastery of new subjects and to push my more advanced learners. The possibilities are endless once we dive into this realm and I am very excited about this possibility. Thank you for your kind support!
