My students need an iPad to utilize a clip on microscope we have. We also need this iPad for students to utilize apps designed to help integrate STEM activities.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have twenty six third grade students who are hungry to learn. We are at a brand new STEM school, which is why we are lacking some essential tools necessary for our twenty first century students and the tools they require.
This iPad will help all my students reach their STEM goals.
Our school is a school which has 98% free and reduced lunches.
Giving my students access to all the tools necessary in order to be the best student they can is my personal goal. Many of my students will not have access to multiple pieces of technology, this iPad will help introduce a new world to my students, and will help them further their STEM knowledge.
My Project
My students will utilize the iPad in many different ways. They will utilize the iPad with the use of a clip on microscope we have been given. This will help bring science to life for my students.
We will also use the iPad for Math and Literacy rotations, using apps that will help with the differentiation needed for my wonderfully unique set of students.
I also would like to utilize the iPad to track and reward students positive behavior through the use of an app. The students will be able to see right away how collaboration and teamwork will benefit them.
Giving my students access to all the tools necessary to be successful is a major goal of mine.
Being a STEM school which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math my students will need to have access to multiple pieces of technology. This iPad will introduce a new world of technology to my students who may not have access to it outside of the classroom.
Students will be able to see first hand how technology can bring science, math, and literacy to life.
