IPad For Non-Verbal Students

Help me give my students an iPad for communication. Many of my students have non-verbal autism. I personally bought an app that will help them communicate but it is not compatible with the older iPad that I have.

My Students

I teach a preschool autism class! It is my dream job, and we celebrate little victories every day! I work with many aides and therapists that put their whole hearts into making a difference in the lives of our students! I want this to help my students to communicate. Many of them are non verbal and this will be life changing for us. I would love for my students to be able to comment and express their wants and needs.

My Project

I would like this device to upload my Proloquo2Go app and be able to get to know my students with non-verbal autism. I purchased this communication app with my own money, only to find out that the device I have is to old to be comparable with it. I would like to get an iPad so my students can express their wants and needs. I want them to be able to tell me who their favorite super hero is, and what they did over the weekend. This device will change how well I know my students. I want them to tell me what is bothering them when they are sick, and what their favorite part of the day was.
