My Students

Our world is changing each and every day. Therefore the way we teach and meet the needs of growing learners must change as well!

I teach 20 VERY motivated and inquisitive first graders every day!

My children come from a wide range of backgrounds, languages, and learning abilities. I have gifted learners, dyslexic learners, second language learners...and many of my children don't have access to technology in their homes.

My Project

I am requesting an Ipad for use in math and literacy stations in my classroom. My students will have access to hundreds of apps , websites, and on-line books on their level. They will be able to work individually or in small groups. I will be able to challenge gifted students and provide engaging practice for students who need more time on a concept.

This Ipad will be a window to the world for my children.

It doesn't matter what level they are working on, they will ALL experience great success! If children are successful and engaged, they are motivated to work hard and learn more!
