Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The iPad features will allow my students to use Apps that will help them with different skills. By using an iPad, students can learn typing, multi-touch navigation, problem-solving (with puzzles and games) and many other skills.
An iPad will allow my students to capture and document in images, text, voice, and video.
Students who use apps to study see it as a play and are more enthusiastic to learn. It will engage the students and motivate them to complete their work.
I will also be able to use the iPad for ClassDojo, which is the reward system that we use in our class. I will be able to walk around as students are working independently and reward them with points for things such as working hard, being on task, and being persistent.
