iPad for Learning Exploration

Help me give my students a chance to access more of their curriculum through technology! The iPad will allow for other options at learning stations and more academic practice through different applications.

My Students

The 11 students in this self-contained special education classroom need your help! We are looking to add an iPad to our classroom in order to maximize their learning potential.

These students are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students who have exceptional characteristics and wonderful personalities.

They are all students who have Autism and they are truly all unique! Technology is something that they all love to work with and are interested in. Technology offers a whole new experience for them!

My Project

Help my non-verbal students access their curriculum! My students will succeed and achieve more of their academic goals with the ability to practice their skills on an iPad. Our curriculum's offer fabulous apps that my students cannot currently access due to not having an iPad available for use.

The iPad will also be used to help the students maintain their schedules and provide an avenue for them to listen to books during reading.

They do best when they are able to see visually what they are working on and provided multiple ways to practice their skills for generalization and maintenance.
