My Students

The challenge that my students are facing is that their parents are not able to provide them with any technology. The addition of an iPad tablet to our classroom will allow me to reach my reluctant and struggling readers in a way that I am currently unable to do.

My first grade students are beginning their journey into becoming lifelong readers, but they need a little help and motivation to embark on their journey.

Our classroom has a variety of books, but many of my students are reluctant readers who have a great love and enthusiasm for technology.

My Project

My first graders will use the iPad to help build their reading skills. It will also teach them spelling, math, fractions, compound words, contractions, and more! Whether they are struggling or need to review and master the subjects, this is a perfect learning tool for them.

Your donations to help fund and support my project, IPad For Kids, will help the students in my classroom who are reluctant to pick up a book and read.

I am trying to inspire and instill the love of reading by creating a class of lifelong learners and readers. I know that my students are very receptive to technology, and the addition of the iPad tablet would not only help the students in my classroom this year, but will be very influential for several years to come.
