My Students

My students love using technology in the classroom. My school is encouraging Bring Your Own Device ( BYOD) this year. I would like an IPad in the room for students to use who do not have a device to bring.

I teach at a Title One school in Georgia.

My students are excited to learn and be engaged in lessons. Many of my students do not have tablets or IPads in their homes. They come from homes dealing with poverty and needing basic necessities. My first graders are enthusiastic when they enter my room and love learning by using technology.

My Project

My students will use personal devices and IPads for reinforcement of math skills and literacy. They will do research, read stories, and practice math facts. They will have projects that will incorporate pictures, words, and art. iPads will help them complete their work.

My project will help my students learn new ways to use technology in their daily learning.

My students have never lived without devices, and will need to continue to learn new ways to use them.
