This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I School; it is located in a low socioeconomic area. The majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are full of energy and excited to learn. I am always encouraged by my students; they do not let their hardships affect their learning. They may not have everything that they need to be ready for the day, but that doesn't stop them! Their struggles only propel them to go farther, fight harder, try harder!

My Project

The iPad will go to great use in my classroom. There are a wealth of Web 2.0 tools that can be utilized from bell to bell instruction. This includes Padlet, Powtoons, Coggle, Plickers, CK12, Sceencast-o-matic, Prezi, Voki, Wordle, blogging iMovie, Canva, and much more! Interaction with these tools will help my students become global learners.

Technology is great for promoting collaboration, creativity, and communication among my students and you can help to promote this in my classroom.

I have seen my students get excited about learning when they are able to use technology, especially if they are creative and engage better with hands on/interactive activities.
