Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students communicate in a variety of ways, some verbal, some nonverbal.

By having an iPad, I can enable my students to try different communication apps to help them express themselves.

Many of my students are nonverbal, and in trying to decide the best communication for them, we print many, many visuals. Then we laminate and store them, but we are constantly printing! By having this iPad, I will be able to trial different apps to see which best meets the needs of my students. Then, we can start the process of getting them their own!
