My students need the iPad in order to sync with a GoPro camera to navigate remotely through complex systems using only the video from the GoPro for direction.

My Students
We are a robotics club composed of unrepresented and underserved populations within the STEM fields. We are in a rural community with limited opportunities regarding exploring and investigating STEM fields and applications.
We are a group of students who are excited about robotics, and how robots can be used to serve our school and community.
We are actively working on projects that further deepens our understanding of STEM and the processes that go into creating an autonomous robot from scratch.
My Project
The iPad supports our learning in two ways: to collect data as we navigate a robot through a complex system, and as we share what we've learned with the school and community. We will be using the iPad to sync with the GoPro mounted to a robot we have built as it is driven remotely through a blind system. We need the iPad to not only record the robots journey, but also to make videos that record our teams progress as a part of our engineering design plan. We will use our videos to update the stakeholders in our project but to also share out our knowledge and learning journey with the greater community.
