My Project
In our math classroom, engagement, understanding, and connection are key to student success—not just academically, but personally. An iPad, Apple Pencil, and protective case will allow me to bring math to life in ways that are interactive, accessible, and emotionally supportive for all learners.
With this technology, I can create dynamic visual notes and model math problems in real time, helping students better grasp challenging concepts.
The Apple Pencil allows for clear, precise annotations, which is especially helpful when breaking down multi-step problems or supporting students with different learning styles.
Beyond academic engagement, this tool will enhance functional life skills—like budgeting, interpreting data, or using technology responsibly—through interactive lessons that are hands-on and relevant to real-world scenarios. These are skills students will use long after they leave my classroom.
Equally important, this technology supports social-emotional learning by allowing students to express their thinking in different ways, collaborate on shared digital spaces, and receive timely, personalized feedback. It also supports classroom routines that build confidence, reduce anxiety around math, and encourage a growth mindset.
This project will help me create a classroom environment where students feel capable, connected, and confident—not just in math, but in themselves.
