My Project

My students use iPads daily as essential learning tools. However, we currently lack a dedicated charging solution, which creates a significant problem: students arrive with depleted devices and must charge during class time. By installing an iPad charging station in our classroom, I can ensure every student's device is fully charged and ready for learning each morning. Students will charge their iPads overnight, eliminating the need for in-class charging time.

This simple solution will:

Maximize instructional time — No more lost minutes to charging during lessons

Ensure equitable access — Every student starts the day with a functioning device

Reduce distractions — Students stay engaged and focused on learning instead of managing device batteries

Improve academic outcomes — Consistent device availability supports better participation and completion of digital assignments

This charging station would have a major impact on our ability to charge all devices in our classroom to maximize learning time.
