My Students

The students in my Kindergarten classroom are full energy! They come in the every day ready for a new adventure. My students are eager to learn and I look for new ways to engage them daily.

I teach at a Title I school in Kentucky where 100 percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.

A lot of these students receive food for the weekends from our Family Resource Center.

These students are our future and I want to give them all the opportunities that I possibly can. Who knows what these students will do when they grow up! I believe in these students, it is my job to inspire them while I have them.

My Project

Having a set of iPads will allow for interactive learning in my classroom. They will allow me to enhance the students' learning and differentiate for each student as well. One way they will be used is literacy skills during centers. I will be able to accommodate all levels of learners. I will also use them for math skills, such as math fluency. Our school has started to explore STEM and the iPad's would be a wonderful resource for the students.

My project will make a difference because, it will give my student's a new opportunity they haven't had before.

This project would allow me to get technology in my classroom and expose some of my student's to it that don't have the opportunity at home.
