iPad Camera Makes Tile Pieces Come To Life!

My students need this Osmo product to use interactive hands on learning with the iPads we already have in our classroom.

My Students

Kindergarten students love to learn working with hands-on activities! They are also learning to use technology faster than previous youth. Let's give them a product to use that is interactive with technology, but requires them to actively think while working and leaning. The Osmo is a tool that can be used in addition to the iPads we already have in our classroom to work on reading and math skills independently or in small groups. The attachment reads the pieces the students are manipulating for instant feedback on their learning process.

My Project

The Osmo will easily attach to the iPads in our classroom. It will allow students to have the letter, numbers, and shapes tiles they put in front of the camera come to life! All the equipment needed comes with this set except the iPad....but we already have that! The tiles that come with this set will allow the student to create words, add and subtract numbers, and manipulate individual shapes to create larger pictures. The camera on the iPad "reads the tiles to make them come to life. The students will feel like they are playing... shhhh... Don't tell them they are learning while latticing and having a great time!
