My Students

We are a preschool class in Michigan. We serve low income, at-risk families and students and provide them with high-quality health and educational programs. We partner with organizations in our community to connect our families with the support they need to become strong families.

Our families are exceptionally diverse!

Exploring and celebrating our different cultures is important to us. We ask lots of questions and we notice everything around us! We are active and curious about our world and we love to play!

My Project

My students need an iPad Air to use with a number of educational math and literacy apps. I can't deny that technology is here to stay and I want to set my young learners up for success. Many of my students have tablets at home and they are used to playing games on the device. I would like to introduce them and their families to more uses for the iPad that relate to math and literacy.

Technology is an important component of learning.

I want my preschoolers to use this technology to help us explore learning about letters and letter sounds, numbers and number sense, and listening to stories.
