Inviting Some Dramatic Play to Our Young Folks

My students need a soft sofa set and an addition to their kitchen area, so the dramatic play center will be more inviting.

My Students

We have a very diverse group of children that attend our 4-k program. I would like to expose them to many things in our world, culturally as well as hands-on.

A very important part of a preschoolers day is freedom to play.

This helps them develop relationships with peers and control their own environment. Dramatic play area is a great way for them to interact with other students and act out their feelings and emotions.

This center needs to be familiar with objects seen around the community as well as things seen around home. This center needs a child sized zone, so students can play freely without any obstacles.

I would love to give my students all the opportunities that I can!

My Project

As our young children develop, they need many opportunities to play freely acting out real life situations. The housekeeping or dramatic play center is the perfect area to allow students to do this.

This area needs to have many child sized items that are familiar and inviting.

A child size sofa and a market will allow children to pretend play with each other. This helps to build a class community and allows shy students to participate in dramatic play.

Young students enjoy having an area that is cozy, and comfortable just like home except it's designed for just their size!
