Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
History should be as engaging as possible. I am asking for many of these supplies so that I can bring more creativity and innovation into my classroom. Not to mention, as a Title 1 school, many students often do not have the means to provide/bring their own supplies like basic supplies, not to mention a Potato Head for a history project. With that said, our students are dependent upon their teachers to provide high-quality materials they need to thrive in school.
The combination of these resources ensures that social studies students have an enriching and positive classroom experience.
We will use them to create projects, facilitate learning, and build skills so that my students can have equal access to them all. Included in this project is a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so that I can take full advantage of the newest and most creative and engaging lessons available. Not to mention, purchasing supplemental resources to better differentiate our core curriculum. My students love creative activities designed by teachers around the world. Teachers pay Teachers offers a wide variety of resources for my students to grow and develop as learners.
