Invigorating Investigation of Coding With an Enormous I-Pad
Help me give my students an extra large 11" i-pad tablet. The 11' i-pad screen will be used with activ cast application to help improve overall class visual ability of coding task completed in groups.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
All the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. Our student body consists of students who live in low-income housing, with a single parent. Students are developing awareness for STEM education. To ensure that students have valuable experiences with STEM education. There is a need for hands on science. Students affected by the integration of this grant will be grades Kindergarten - 4th grade. Student understanding the use of STEM in science at the elementary level prepares them with the appropriate skills need to effectively use technology.
My Project
All students in grades Kindergarten - 4th grade have the opportunity to STEM education. My STEM class is focusing on coding using i-pads in groups. Students are developing an awareness of STEM education (coding). To ensure that students are engaged in invigorating coding activities in groups their is a need for a large screen i-pad that all students can see during the group activity. Students using this 11" i-pad will have an improve visual ability, comfort and eagerness about STEM coding lessons. Classrooms equipped with larger i-pads creates learning quads in which student learning goes far beyond what is expected to be learned in the group.
