Investigating and Supporting Science Concepts With a Chromebook!
Help me give my students a Chromebook for research. This technology will help them apply concepts learned in the science classroom and connect them to real world applications.

Preparing students for the world in which they live, and eventually will work, is extremely important.
Students need to learn how to become effective problem-solvers in real-world situations. Having access to technology is vital.
Our students have a strong desire to learn about the world we live in and love working on STEM projects. My science classroom is composed of diverse learners in a high poverty area. My students are very enthusiastic about school and have a thirst for learning. They are curious, funny, caring, loving, and imaginative.
I use many different learning pathways to help them understand the content on a deeper level. All my students are unique and have many different strengths; however, when any one of them has a piece of technology in their hands, they immediately become more engaged in the activity.
My Project
I am requesting a Chromebook for my students' use. The Chromebook will be utilized for various science centers, small group work, research, and creative projects. My students learn in a wonderful school, but the amount of technology is limited.
Providing my students with this amazing technology piece will allow them to access vital and current research they need to support STEM investigations in the classroom, as well as at home during these uncertain times.
There are so many great resources that Chromebooks can provide for students that they do not get at home.
We live in a time where information is available with the touch of a button; these amazing students deserve the opportunity to explore and learn with technology.
