Inventors on a Mission!

My students need building and engineering toys to allow them to bring their ideas to life!

My Students

My students come from low socioeconomic homes. Many of their parents are forced to work-out-of state to provide for their families while the children are raised solely by one or two elderly grandparents.

While they are with me I focus on their strengths and interests.

I ensure I am creating a warm and loving environment by greeting them with a hug and complimenting them on their shoes, clothing and anything they feel proud of. I know they are faced with many hardships at home with much separation anxiety never knowing when they will see their parents next. But in my classroom is a loving warm environment where they can relax and rely on me to always be there, to believe in them, cheering them on, in their learning endeavors.

My Project

These materials will make a big difference in my students' learning and improve their school lives in general. My students enjoy building and many times create complex structures with basic wooden blocks. I wish they had the materials to extend their building and thinking.

The STEM engineering building materials and Magna-Tiles will allow my students to bring their complex abstract ideas to life without the limit of basic wooden blocks.

Young students' imagination is limitless and is the perfect time for them to have an opportunity to experiment with multiple building materials.

Young children are our future so let's invest in their inventions!
