My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Our school is nestled in the heart of the Twin Cities.

We serve a generation of students that are in need of supplies.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

They are a gifted and talented group, and I am so blessed and thankful to have a new group of students that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

Students will participate in the program and invent a solution to a problem of your choosing. The problem they hope to solve should originate from their life, the lives of the families, or community. Although the invention must be their work, they may receive guidance and support from adults.

This award-winning invention education program fosters problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Display Board: You must design a display board about your invention. The board will highlight key points of the invention process. There are requirements for the board, but we also encourage your creativity! The board requirements are located in the Invention Log.

You must create a self-standing display board—24” wide with two 12” side flaps (total 48”)—that has:

The title of the invention

A description of the problem the invention solves

A description of how the invention works

The inventor’s name, grade, and school, school’s city and state

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to enter the Invention Convention with confidence they have the correct board size. Your donation will be fostering the love of learning of Science!
