Inventors Hall Through Literature

Help me give my students the opportunity to. become inventors through the use of literature. Students will look for the different problems that arise in these stories, brainstorm solutions, and then head off to invent.

My Project

Students love to create. This will give them the opportunity to put on their inventor's hat. While reading stories, student will look for different problems that arise. They will choose a problem, brainstorm solutions, and then head off to the inventor's station and create their prototype.

Their inventions will then join the Inventor's Hall in the glass cases of our school.

The Inventor's Hall will start with books and inventions that already exists. They will add their invention and description to the Inventor's Hall throughout the summer program.

Students will be given voice and choice in the problems they find, and choose to solve. They will decide how they will create their prototype and what materials they will use.
