Students will use the creative LEGO brick set and the community figures for mini builds every time we start to work on the main project. These are quick builds that help students learn to talk about themselves as well as their ideas. They will also be used along with the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 sets and the base plates to design, test, and program their working model for the competition. During this process, they will work together to research the current year's topic, brainstorm solutions to the problem, and work together to build a project that reflects this year's theme. This project will offer my students real life skills by having to work together, listen to the ideas of others, include everyone's thoughts, and compromise to design the final project.
