Help me give my students hands-on opportunities to study inventions through experiences of building simple machines, airplanes, and Rube Goldberg Machines. These materials provide the missing components to units I currently teach.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The supplies I have requested will help me bring my lessons to life by providing hands-on experiences to students. Students read and research the history of innovation and engineering. By accompanying their background knowledge with these hands-on opportunities, students will have a deeper and longer lasting experiences of real science. The long term impact will be great, as students make connections through real life experiences and are able to use critical thinking skills to a greater extent based on these experiences. Hands-on science provides for life long learners.
