Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our vibrant classroom is home to a diverse group of special education students, ranging in age from 11 to 14 years old. Their abilities span a broad spectrum, from 1st grade to 5th grade, creating a rich tapestry of unique talents and potential.
It's important to note that many of our wonderful students come from economically challenged areas, and our school proudly holds the Title 1 designation.
Despite the diverse backgrounds and challenges, our classroom is a nurturing space where every student is valued and supported on their individual learning journey.
Thanks to the generous donation of Ozobots, my students will now have the incredible opportunity to engage in STEM activities that would have been otherwise inaccessible to them. This contribution opens doors to exciting learning experiences that will undoubtedly enhance their education and foster a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
