Intro To Guitar To Modern Band Rock Stars!

Help me give my students Peavey and Fender amps, a keyboard stand, and a microphone to start a rock band!

My Project

Students in my intro to guitar classes get hooked! We start with absolute basics and finish the semester by performing in a concert. The kids love it and keep coming back for more. We put the call out to our community looking for unwanted and underused instruments, and we hit the jackpot! We gained 2 electric guitars, 2 basses, and an electric piano, but we don't quite have everything in working order yet and need some equipment to get started.

Acoustic combos are fun but these kids are ready to ROCK; to get our Rock Band up and running we need amps and cables!

We're preparing for concerts but are hoping to unveil our new electric sound soon! Adding the electric opens the door to more performance opportunities and collaboration! We're already diving into the science of sound but will really increase our STEM connections with amplification!
