This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is out of snacks and prizes which are very important to my behavior management and academic goal setting. Students are working so hard on reaching their academic goals. We have a system in which I use class cash to pay them for their efforts. Once a week, I open my class store to allow them to shop. The store consists of small prizes, snacks and treats, which are now gone. I would really appreciate help getting them excited about reaching their goals again by replenishing my stash. I also throw class parties when they have reached 100 good behavior points. Their goal right now is a popcorn party, so we could really use a popcorn machine. They are very motived by prizes parties and it really helps them achieve their goals, get higher scores on their assessments, and keeps our classroom running smoothly.
